Nail Technician
Skilled Nail Care is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Nail Technician to provide on-site manicure and pedicure services to residents at nursing homes and assisted living facilities across NJ.

About the role
What the work involves.
You would provide manicures and pedicures to residents in their own rooms or in a common area, working at each resident’s pace. Anything that looks like it needs clinical attention goes to the facility’s nursing staff.
Duties
What you’ll do.
- Travel to facilities as scheduled
- Provide manicures and pedicures to elderly residents
- Maintain sanitation and infection control standards
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff
- Keep service records
- Manage own mobile kit
Qualifications
What we’re looking for.
- New Jersey State Board manicurist or cosmetologist license
- Manicure and pedicure experience required
- Experience with elderly populations a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate demeanor

These are the safety and sanitation practices every visit follows.
Disinfection between every resident
Reusable implements are cleaned and disinfected in an EPA-registered disinfectant that is tuberculocidal and effective against HIV and Hepatitis B, then stored in a clean closed container.
Single-use where it matters
Files, buffers and wooden sticks are used once and discarded. Nothing porous moves from one resident to the next.
Waterless when appropriate
No shared basins or soaking tubs for at-risk residents. Care is delivered dry or with single-use liners.
We stay in our lane
We are licensed nail technicians, not medical providers. We don't treat wounds, infections or nail disease. Anything of concern goes to the facility’s nursing staff or the resident's podiatrist.
