How we work
Keeping everything we can the same.
For a resident living with dementia, a new face, a different room and unfamiliar tools can be unsettling. So our approach is to keep what we can the same: the same person, the same day, and the same simple routine each visit.
Your care staff know the residents best. We would ask which times of day go well, whether a familiar aide should be nearby, and what helps a particular resident settle, then plan the visit around it.
Nothing is forced. If a resident doesn’t want care today, we note it and come back later in the visit or on the next rotation.

Safety and sanitation
Salon licensing standards, practiced in the resident's room.
Infection control is often the first question nursing staff ask. Here is how our technicians will work.
Disinfection between every resident
Reusable implements are cleaned and disinfected in an EPA-registered disinfectant that is tuberculocidal and effective against HIV and Hepatitis B, then stored in a clean closed container.
Single-use where it matters
Files, buffers and wooden sticks are used once and discarded. Nothing porous moves from one resident to the next.
Waterless when appropriate
No shared basins or soaking tubs for at-risk residents. Care is delivered dry or with single-use liners.
We stay in our lane
We are licensed nail technicians, not medical providers. We don't treat wounds, infections or nail disease. Anything of concern goes to your nursing staff or the resident's podiatrist.
Questions
Common questions
What if a resident refuses nail care?
We don’t push. We stop, note it for your staff, and try again later in the visit or on the next rotation.
Can a family member or aide stay during the visit?
Yes, if your community allows it. A familiar face nearby often helps a resident feel at ease.
